About Drift Hunters
Drift Hunters is a 3D driving game built around holding slides through corners. Start with the car in your garage, choose a track from Race, and use earned credits for cars and parts. Tuning changes how your car handles; Visuals changes its appearance.
Use a desktop or laptop with a keyboard. Click inside the game before driving so it receives your key presses.
Drift Hunters controls
- W A S D / arrows
- Accelerate, brake, and steer.
- Space
- Apply the brake to help initiate a slide.
- C
- Change the camera view.
- Left Shift / Ctrl
- Shift up / down when using the manual gearbox.
How to play Drift Hunters
- Open Options and choose Automatic while learning steering and throttle control.
- Select Race, choose a track, and practice wide turns before attempting long drift chains.
- Build speed, turn into a corner, then countersteer gently as the back of the car slides out.
Tips for your first session
- Ease off the throttle when you keep spinning; more speed is not always a better drift.
- Practice a repeatable corner and compare your results before buying more power.
- Change one tuning setting at a time so you can feel what improved the car.

How can I reduce lag in Drift Hunters?
Open Options and set Graphics to Low. Close other demanding tabs, then try again. A steady frame rate makes steering corrections easier.
Why do the gear keys do nothing?
Check the gearbox setting in Options. Automatic changes gears for you; the Shift and Ctrl controls are for Manual.
What if the game stays on a blank screen?
Give the 3D player time to load, then refresh once if it does not progress. Try a current browser with hardware acceleration enabled. The embedded game also depends on its host being available.
